The particularly fertile soils, the abundant waters, the ideal climatic conditions but also the taste and the knowledge of the producers contribute to the production of a product of exceptional quality and taste.
Characteristics: Borlotti beans are especially known for their colorful spots, which disappear during cooking. It is a very tasty variety of legumes with beneficial properties for the human body. Their name is due to their external appearance, since when they are green they look similar in color to the red mullet fish. There are many ways to cook it, such as oily, with meat or in a colorful, fresh salad.
