Herring (Regga in Greek, Crupea harengus species) are delicious fish with nutritional characteristics as they are considered natural source of fatty acids which are proven to contribute to a healthy heart, brain and vision. These herring fillets are smoked and packaged in sunflower oil with salt. Keep refrigerated.

In 1966 Athanasios Filaretos established a small company in Asminio village (North of Evia), where he was selecting the best fish and, with extra care, passion and knowledge, he cured the fish in sea salt producing his famous "North Evia anchovies and sardines". Nowadays his children, Stathis and Dimitris, on the steps of their father’s deep knowledge and care, continue to produce the same premium quality products, awarded for both their taste and their packaging. “North Evia” fish delicacies with their unique taste and premium quality are exported in several countries; the product range includes a variety of smoked or non smoked fish such as anchovies, sardines, tuna, mackerel, herring, seafood, etc. preserved either in sea salt or in sunflower oil.
